How can athletes set themselves up for recruitment success? Your athlete’s dedication to contacting coaches at “right fit” college programs  is crucial to their college selection and athletic recruitment success. Understanding which programs have the level of scholastic rigor and the majors that satisfy the athlete’s interest and aptitude is essential. Lastly, athletes must combine that knowledge with an understanding of the college soccer programs performing at their ability and then market themselves to that list.  We suggest sending your player profile and a carefully crafted email outlining your athletic strengths, team contributions, and scholastic interests. If you need help, we are dedicated to this good work with classes and private consulting guidance at Strikers! Call us at #630-740-8741, or contact us online here.

In an effort to support the transition of our athletes, we are very excited to have two guest appearances for the Showcase.

  1. Career Vision is a tremendous organization that has been matching students with careers that meet their interest, aptitudes, and potential for many years. Encourage your athlete to stop by with questions (10 am – 2 pm). Learn more at http://careervision.org/
  2. Sandy Longworth of Longworth Prep is also supporting the Showcase this year. A former Guidance Counselor from St Charles North, Sandy is a wealth of information! Don’t miss this chance to find out what you need to know about college decisions! (10 am- 2 pm). Learn more here: http://www.longworthprep.com/
